Today you will:
- Review reasons a person should use Delicious.
- Explore talking email message websites.
- Create talking photographs with your own picture
- Create talking messages and embed them into your blog or wiki pages.
- Send talking email message to a teacher, parent or friend
- Post your examples on your blog - in a new page or just add the URL
- Reflect upon the talking email messages
- Create a new page on your blog to showcase your talking messages/photos or just add the URL inside your post - example: click here to view an example
- Create a new page on your wiki - either one called Talking Messages, or you may create a page for each tool - example E-Trade Baby Mail, then one for Monk-email
- Create a post for each tool that you explored (only one required for Sunday is E-Trade Babymail)
Please read over the tool evaluation link on our class wiki - to make sure you are properly evaluating each tool we go over in class.
Remember - at the beginning of each class period you need to go directly to the Agenda page to see what we are going to do for the day - then wait for Mrs. James to start the class - or if it says to get started - then go ahead and start - otherwise wait. Thanks a bunch!
Remove your LAST NAME on your blog if it is on there. Profile information should be off as well if it has personal information about yourself.

What you must complete:
* Create links on your student Wiki page
o Link to class blog - socialmedia3b.blogspot.com
o Link to your blog
* Create a new page on your wiki site for your avatars to be kept on.
* Create a welcome on your wiki page - explaining what your wiki page is going to be used for - sharing tools, etc.
* Create a new post with a MEEZ avatar - evaluate tool - describe its features, strengths, weaknesses, etc.
* Create a social bookmarking account on
- o Symbaloo - add several bookmarks to it.
- o Delicious (you have to create a yahoo account)
* Change Google browser background with a personal picture
* Evaluate Voki tool if you have not done so
* Add your Delicious Account name to our class wiki ahssocialmedia.wikispaces.com
* Add Meez name account to class wiki - ahssocialmedia.wikispaces.com - Find MEEZ 3b page on the wiki
- New Post - textanim.com - evaluate and add example to blog in post.

Blog Lists
On side bar, click add Gadget. Add Blog List
Create Blog List which consists of class blogs
Add each students blog to list
Find each students blog address on Social Media Class Blog
Rename each students blog – with student first name.
Create Links List

Today students created a talking Avatar on Voki.com
Visit our class wiki page for explanation of avatars - click Avatar link on side bar. After voki is complete explore the other avatar websites given on our wiki page.
Students added their speaking avatar to their wiki welcome page and as a post on their blog.
Explain in detail the Voki tool in the post with the avatar.
