Review - Compare and contrast TinyChat vs. Google Talk - Explore Skype


PODCASTING - Today we will explore a website which allow us to a create podcast.

Add a message utilizing Vocaroo to your blog as a gadget.

You do not have to create an account, but if you want to save your messages you will need to.  

Explore the Imagination Cubed - with a partner.  


As well as visit image zone and pull 10 pictures off to be used for a future assignment.

This collaborative drawing tool provides different brushes, stamps, and other features. Invite others by email to participate in your artwork.  

With Imagination Cubed you can email a friend to have them draw with you! FUN!!!! And chat at the same time.  You can create a design and email the design to a friend.  Once your drawing is complete click replay and it will "replay" your drawing!

ASSIGNMENT:

Add Welcome Message to your blog - as a gadget.

Create a post on Imagination Cubed - take a screen shot and discuss this tool.

While there is down town - change your meez, blog background, visit  http://www.go2web20.net/ and explore websites!!!! - HAVE FUN!!! Share what you find by adding a post to our web tools blog!

Review Google Templates - create a post! 

Today you will:

• create a 5 question survey
• embed the survey as a post to your blog
• participate in taking surveys of your peers
• take Mrs. James survey on the Social Media 3o blog
• adjust your height and width on your survey to fit in the column 

Assignment:

• Create a survey on your blog (we will review how to do this)
• Survey topic should be geared towards technology/Internet:  social networking, social media, web tools, etc.
• Please include a name question for your participants
• Total of 5 questions
• Create a post on Google Templates 

When directed, you will take several of your classmates surveys - but to give people time to complete their survey, you will take 3o's surveys.

Go to Social Media 3o and take their survey - choose 5.
